“Ivan in Worcester“- CT demo.
Well, it’s almost Groundhog Day, and time to unveil the new, 2019 Ivans! Our scientists (well, one of them, anyway) are working overtime in the lab putting on the finishing touches, prior to the actual ceremony itself at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge on Sat., Feb. 2 from 4 to 6pm, so the whole thing is shrouded in secrecy right now, as we don’t want the other bands to steal our ideas and innovations, but I was able to smuggle out a blueprint, this sort of Mills Bros. rendition of “Ivan in Worcester”… will be interesting to see where it goes from here!
AND FURTHERMORE: “Ivan in Worcester“- first rehearsal, Jan. 19, 2019, recorded at John Clark’s house in Cambridge by Fred Boak. Still some chance we’ll have it down in a couple of weeks!
“Ivan in Worcester” (a cappella version), rehearsal, Jan. 28, 2019, recorded at John Clark’s house in Cambridge by Fred Boak. And then Dinty sez, “let’s do an a cappella version where we sing our various instruments’ parts”, so then we do that (I suppose if Dinty told us to jump off a bridge, we’d do that, too)…
