“Fish Out of Water” – the Catbirds, recorded live at O’Shea’s Olde Inn, March 18th, 2017, by Mark Usher, mixed by Mark Usher and Chandler Travis. This is just a cover of a Ronnie Dawson song that we used to frequently open with, as it seemed to be a good way to make friends.
Ronnie was amazing, and his original version of this one is on my favorite of his albums, “Just Rockin’ & Rollin'”, highly recommended. He was always great live -I miss him!
We got a ton of great recordings from this night -now it’s just a matter of figuring out what to do with them!
