Just came back from a (slightly working) vacation at my good friend John Yingling’s house in Southfield, Jamaica. Smokey’s was this little beach shack bar on nearby Treasure Beach that we hung out at almost every day, drinking Red Stripes… idyllic only begins to describe it. John and I got to play a couple gigs down there, too, and I vow to return next year with more musicians!!
