By the Way

“By the Way” -from our new album, “Bocce & Bourbon: the Comfortable Songs of Chandler Travis & David Greenberger“.

This is one of my favorite songs we’ve ever written, and the one I was most looking forward to recording, though, as frequently happens when you love something this much, there was probably never any real hope of capturing my fantasy of what the song could be. Still, not bad!

I’m particularly indebted to our wunnerful bassist, John Clark (aka Whit Tilleston Jr.) for the wonderful bowed bass line, and to Berke McKelvey for a great keyboard solo, and to everyone else for for everything else!
