In My Life- Chandler Travis Philharmonette, recorded at Caffe Lena, March 12, 2011, board mix by Joe Deuel -There’s certain bands and songs that should probably never be covered, and both “In My Life” and the Beatles are right up at the top of the list; but when my pals Baye and D’Linda Player got married last fall, they asked me to play “In My Life”, and I’ve been playing it ever since, thankfully with the usual genius support of John Clark on string bass and Berke McKelvey on sax (tho recorded at a Philharmonette gig, this is basically the Chandler Travis Three-O).
